Founders’ Message

"Welcome to VP Foundation School. We are living in the age of information—the digital era—where distractions, hyper-connectivity, and cognitive overload have reached unprecedented levels. In such an environment, the role of parents has become more challenging than it was a few decades ago. Yet, no individual or institution can replace the love, care, and guidance of parents. As educators, our role is to share that responsibility to walk alongside parents during their children’s formative years and help equip them with the skills, confidence, and values needed to become independent and successful individuals. Recognising the challenges of our times, we envisioned an educational environment that nurtures creativity, keeps children grounded in reality, and encourages them to look beyond the distractions of the virtual world. We believe in loving children without over-pampering them, and in preparing them to face life with confidence and independence. The early years, particularly from ages 2 to 9, are crucial for developing positive habits, curiosity, creativity, and the foundations of lifelong learning. Our approach is guided by the National Education Policy 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework 2023 (Foundational Stage). The idea of establishing a school was conceived in 2019. In 2020, that vision took its first step with the establishment of the first BACHPAN of Arunachal Pradesh at Richi Jollang Village, Itanagar—even amidst the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 lockdown. VP Foundation School (VPFS) is a continuation of that journey, extending our vision of educating and inspiring children up to the age of 14. “Educating Mindfully, Inspiring Skilfully” reflects the philosophy that guides us. Inspired by Albert Einstein’s words, “Once you stop learning, you start dying,” we aspire for every child at VPFS to become a lifelong learner curious, capable, compassionate, and confident enough to face the world. We are deeply grateful to our VP Foundation School family whose dedication continues to help build an institution for the growth of our society, our state, and our nation while nurturing goodness, humanity, and the skills to fly. As we launch our website, we hope it strengthens communication between the school and parents, supports student progress tracking, builds trust, and creates a more connected school community. “This is a journey to unearth human potentialities at the bud.”"
